Endodontics Root Canals

Our experienced team of dentists—Dr. Anthony DiNapoli, Dr. Daniel Lebowitz, and Dr. Kyle Zumfelde–provides personalized root canal care as part of our complete dental specialties to help preserve your smile and support your overall oral health.

Endodontics is a specialized area of dentistry focused on diagnosing and treating issues within the inner soft tissue of the tooth—known as the pulp. When this area becomes inflamed or infected due to decay, injury, or repeated procedures, it can threaten the health of the entire tooth.

Endodontic therapy, including root canal treatment, aims to eliminate infection, relieve pain, and maintain the natural tooth structure whenever possible. Modern techniques and advanced tools make today’s treatments more precise, comfortable, and effective than ever before.

At The Dental Hub, we offer advanced endodontic care delivered with skill, precision, and compassion. Our skilled team takes the time to thoroughly explain your treatment options, answer your questions, and ensure you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Your comfort and peace of mind are always our top priorities.

Root canal treatment is one of the most common–and most effective– procedures in modern dentistry. Despite its reputation, it’s far less intimidating than you might think.

A root canal may be recommended when:

  • A tooth is infected or inflamed due to deep decay
  • Trauma or cracks have exposed the pulp inside
  • There’s persistent pain or sensitivity

During a root canal, we remove the infected or damaged tooth pulp, clean and shape the inner canals, and seal the space with a biocompatible material and root canal sealer. A crown is then placed over the tooth to restore its function and protect it from further damage.

This therapy relieves pain, helps avoid extraction, and preserves the strength and appearance of your natural tooth.

In many cases, endodontic surgery isn’t necessary. Non-surgical root canal can effectively  treat infection or trauma using advanced imaging, gentle techniques, and highly personalized care.

Whether your tooth has been affected by gradual infection or sudden trauma, our goal is to resolve the issue comfortably and efficiently–so you can get back to your life with a healthy, pain-free smile.

The process begins with a thorough exam and imaging to confirm the need for root canal therapy. Once diagnosed, we’ll numb the area with local anesthesia to ensure you’re completely comfortable. Then the infected or damaged pulp is carefully removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned, disinfected, and sealed with a root canal sealer.

In most cases, a custom crown is placed over the tooth at a follow-up appointment to strengthen and protect it from further damage. We use high-quality materials to ensure your restoration blends seamlessly with your natural teeth and holds up over time.

Your comfort is our priority. We’ll talk you through every step so you know what to expect and feel confident in your care. Our team is here to help you feel better—quickly, comfortably, and with results that last.
