Dr. Patricia Guttman (“Dr. Patty”) received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry.  Dr. Guttman also holds a Master’s degree in Anatomy from Wright State University and a B.A. in Biology from Wittenberg University.

At the OSU College of Dentistry, Dr. Guttman was awarded the Senior Student Award which is presented to the student showing the greatest interest, knowledge and proficiency in general dentistry as selected by dental school faculty.  She also was awarded the Willmarth and Marion Paine Dental Scholarship, and was an honorable mention for the Basch Memorial Scholarship for outstanding competency in communication and patient management skills.  Dr. Guttman presented her dental research at the American Association of Dental Research.  She continues to use these skills in her general dentistry practice today.

In 2015, Dr. Guttman was appointed by the Governor of Ohio to serve on the State Dental Board as one of nine dentists charged with licensing and regulating the dental profession in Ohio.  She served as board secretary for two years as one of two dentists on The Supervisory Investigation Panel. Dr. Guttman competed her appointment as the boards Vice President.  

Dr. Guttman gives back to the central Ohio community as a TWIG member – a group of women who support Nationwide Children’s Hospital to support patient care, education and research.  In her personal time, Dr. Guttman is a youth “hockey mom,” loves to ski and watch the Columbus Blue Jackets.
